Our Clinic has a strong reputation in our city and our region. Will BookingClinic provide something more to us?

Question:

We want to join BookingClinic only because we are interested in medical tourism, and patients from abroad.

Answer:

Last but not least, in order to attract patients from abroad a Clinic has to compete with competitive markets such as that of Central Europe, where most of the medical tourism stream is directed. Therefore, it is essential that the patient is aware in advance of the cost of your services. In this global market, publication of prices is already a reality, and Clinics in Greece, Cyprus, Romania, etc., have an important advantage for the same high level of services.

Question:

How will we give Best Price Guarantee to BC, given that we often have special package deals of limited duration, special rooms (e.g. suites) etc.?

Answer:

Whenever you propose a special offer you may upload it on the BookingClinic platform (we can even provide a special marking, i.e. ‘limited offer’, ‘special price’ etc.). After all, BookingClinic is a dynamic tool that allows you to adjust your prices at any time, to distinguish your products/services, but also to highlight special targeted marketing campaigns to the global e-market.

Finally, all Internet users expect and find reasonable that each service or product they buy online is bought at the best price. Question:

We do not want to enter treatments with National Health Insurance prices. How will our prices be compared with these prices?

Answer:

BookingClinic.com allows you to choose to only enter private prices for your services by focusing on treatments with the highest profit margin and on patients from abroad.

In any case, by default, the list of results displays PRIVATE PRICES and not prices under National Insurance. There is a filter though, that if the user chooses to apply by selecting his national insurance, then the list of results changes, displaying the Clinics that provide treatment with National Insurance prices. At the same time, a message will appear informing the user that more private payment options are available:

As an example: "In the case of private payment, .... (number) of Clinics in Greece provide this treatment. View"

Question:

The treatment package provided by our Clinic includes much more services than usual. How will it be compared with the competition's simple packages of the same treatment in the list of results?

Answer:

It is up to you to highlight your differences from the competition by appropriately differentiating the title and the description of your package, i.e.:

  • Breast augmentation - Basic package
  • Breast augmentation - Superior with a 5-day hotel stay in Thessaloniki
  • Breast augmentation - Superior stay in suite / Special offer, 30% discount

Furthermore, in the field "Treatment" you may describe in detail your specific treatment package and all its additional services, and you may also highlight the competitive advantages of your Clinic and associate doctors in the relevant fields ("Clinic", "Doctors").

Question:

How do we make sure that patients have chosen the right treatment?

Answer:

Before completing their booking, patients are asked to confirm that they have had a medical consultation for the treatment they request (a few categories such as plastic surgery are excluded).

They are also informed that following their booking confirmation, the Clinic will ask for more details and for their medical record.

Question:

How do we set a treatment price when additional charges or even complications may arise during hospitalization?

Answer:

The Terms & Conditions clearly state that any additional hospitalization need that may arise during hospitalization concerns exclusively the Clinic and the patient and not BookingClinic. It is also clearly stated to the patient that the price displayed refers to the basic hospital care package as described in detail in the description "Treatment", and does not cover specific needs that may arise during hospitalization (additional specialized examinations, extension of stay, medication etc.), of which the patient will be informed by the Clinic before any additionally charge. It is important though, for the reliability of the Clinic and for the establishment of a trustful relation with the client, that the description of the treatment includes needs that may arise as well as their extra cost (which are not included in the standard package price).

Question:

Doctors do not want their fee to be shown

Answer:

Doctor’s remuneration is not shown anywhere, as it is included in the overall package the patient will pay. In the case a doctor, wants a higher fee than the one included in the Clinic's package (i.e. a doctor with long experience, a professor, etc…), a higher fee may be included for him. When a user selects this doctor, the total cost of the treatment changes, but the user only can observe the difference in the total cost, still without knowing the doctor’s total fee.

Question:

Some of our doctors may not want to join a competitive treatment package.

Answer:

Indeed. But it is not mandatory to integrate all your associate doctors, but only those who want to join the platform and to take some of your new prospective clients from around the world via our platform, at the price that you have set.

Question:

The main patients’ streams are currently directed to our Clinic through the doctors. What more will BookingClinic offer?

Answer:

This process will remain as it is today. Additionally, the Clinic is now able to shape and promote its own competitive package and attract patients who will choose it based on the comprehensive, complete and transparent picture of its services and infrastructures. The innovative characteristic of BookingClinic is the establishment of a new direct customers’ stream to your Clinic via the internet, with patients from all over the world who, otherwise might never have heard about you.
