ISIS Clinic

In 2006 Dr Andreas Mavrides a Consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist returned to Cyprus after 16 years working at the best hospitals and fertility units in the UK. Upon his return he founded ISIS, a specialist private medical company for constructing, taking over and running boutique style medical centres. Ledra clinic

Ledra clinic, the 'prototype' obstetrics and gynecology clinic is located in Nicosia, the capital city of Cyprus and was established by Dr. Takis Georgiou. Dr. Takis Georgiou is considered a pioneer within the iv-vitro fertilization field since he not only established the first IVF centre in Cyprus and in the Middle East and the Balkans, but he also delivered the first "tube-baby" in Cyprus.

Today, the clinic offers gynecologic and obstetric services and specializes in the infertility field since our Fertility and In-Vitro Fertilization Centre-Ledra-Embryogenesis together with an experienced and specialized team of doctors and embryologists are in the position to offer all the available services related to fertility and assisted reproductive technologies.

Marie Stopes

Infertility can be caused of many different factors. It is important to start your treatment firstly finding out the real reason behind the infertility. Gürgan Clinic performs IVF cycles with ICSI (microinjection) method. ICSI is mostly used in male infertility cases in which men have poor quality or low count sperm cells in ejaculation. In ICSI method, one sperm cell is injected inside one oocyte/egg cell.
