Located at the heart of Berlin, near to Kurfürstendamm and the renowned KaDeWe, the Franziskus-Hospital provides medical expertise, professional care and individual attentiveness at the highest level. 

At Franziskus-Hospital we treat the entire range of surgical and internal cases. In addition, we are specialized in urological and vascular diseases. We have an excellent reputation in this specialist area, also among international patients.

Vascular and endovascular surgery is bundled together with internal medicine and radiology at the German Vascular Center Berlin. 

Francisc Hospital Internal Medicine

Since the founding of the Franciscan Hospital, the Department of Internal Medicine has been supplying patients from all over Berlin. All medical conditions are diagnosed and treated here. In addition to basic and standard care, the clinic specializes in the fields of vascular medicine and diabetology, cardiology and hypertension, gastroenterology and oncology and pneumology.

Francisc Hospital Urology

The Department of Urology of the Franciscan Hospital diagnoses and treats in interdisciplinary cooperation with other departments all diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract as well as the male reproductive organs. In a trusting atmosphere, all patients have access to a hand-in-hand team of specialized doctors, dedicated nurses and therapists as well as modern technical equipment.

Therapy of urological tumors

A special focus is on the treatment of urological tumors, primarily the prostate, bladder and kidneys. Whenever possible, organ or function preserving procedures and minimally invasive surgical techniques are used. In addition to the 3D laparoscopy, the clinic has also been using a da Vinci robot in cooperation with the Charité since January 2017.

Treatment of stone disease, prostate enlargement and pelvic floor weakness

In addition, the urology at the Franciscan Hospital specializes in the treatment of stone disease, benign prostate enlargement and pelvic floor weakness and urinary incontinence.

When planning all examination and treatment steps, the individual needs of each patient are at the center of all efforts. For optimal care after the hospital stay, the clinic works closely together with general practitioners and specialists.
