Founded in 1805, the Tübingen University Hospital is one of the 33 university hospitals in Germany that contribute to the successful combination of high-performance medicine, research and teaching. We are a reliable partner in four of the six German Centres for Health Research initiated by the Federal Government. MILLESI Center

The MILLESI Center is part of the network of centers of medical expertise in the Wiener Privatklinik (Vienna Private Clinic). The micro-reconstruction and restorative surgery team headed by Prof. Dr. Hanno Millesi and Prof. Dr. Robert Schmidhammer cooperates in a network of specialists (physiotherapy, neurology, electrophysiology, radiology, and conservative pain specialists) dedicated to the field of peripheral nerves lesion and their functional consequences.

The two surgery specialists perform more than 250 complex microsurgical and reconstructive/restorative operations a year.

The goal of the Millesi Center for Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Surgery is to provide comprehensive treatment to maximize a patient’s functional useful recovery. This is accomplished by experienced peripheral nerve surgeons performing micro-surgery, reconstructive surgery, and restorative surgery.
