 Team Rehab

Team Rehab uk was set up in January 2016, by consultant physiotherapist, Chris Heywood, to enable him to build a company that delivered physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation to the very highest levels. Since then, the company has grown from strength to strength on the back of simple honesty, quality and hard work. We now have a team of 4, highly experienced physiotherapists, that boast more than 90 years of clinical experience between them. More recently, we welcomed Beth to the Team, our first dedicated degree level sports therapist. This has brought about fresh approaches, new ideas and a very popular new sports massage service.

We are now able to offer a range of services, with a range of costs, that hopefully allows more people to be able to access our premium sessions and highly regarded, professional team.

At Team Rehab uk we believe that Communication is absolutely vital so that we can understand what your own injury, or condition, is, along with what is important to you in your recovery process. This is a skill that not only takes a therapist many years of practice to master, but needs time to allow it happen which is why we switched all of our 30-minute routine therapy sessions, in 2017, to 40 minutes. We also encourage our practitioners to decipher reports, or letters, from other professionals and explain them in clear simple English, along with their own findings, and not to presume our clients already understand these.

How many time have you visited your GP, Physio, Osteopath, Chiropractor, Consultant, and left with a bag of medication, a scan referral or maybe a mass of confused exercises, yet you have no idea why you are taking them, what they are scanning, or what the exercises are meant to be doing to help? Worse still, when you get home, you have no idea what just happened and the only thing you seem to have gained as a result of the appointment is a previously unknown level of confusion and a set of alien vocabulary that could double up as the worlds best set of scrabble words! And if it was private, you also get the the invoice.

This is exactly what we aim to avoid and the feedback that we get from our clients is that we do, very successfully.
