Aortobifemoral bypass surgery is used to bypass diseased large blood vessels in the abdomen and groin.To bypass the blocked blood vessel, blood is redirected through a graft made of synthetic material, which is sewn to the existing artery. These man-made grafts are more likely to be used than transplanted natural grafts for aortobifemoral surgery because the blood vessels involved are large.

AORTOBIFEMORAL BYPASS

  1. Surgical procedure of the infrarenal aorta and iliac vessels

  2. Max. 3 days in intensive care unit

  3. Max. 7 days in hospital (drugs, medical care, full board)

Package does not include

  1. Intensive care unit of more than 3 days. Extra cost 350€/day
  2. Intensive care unit + Continuous Vent-Venous Hemofiltration of more than 3 days (CVVH). Extra cost 1.100€/day
  3. Hospitalisation of more than 7 days . Accommodation charge for patient in General ward 150 €/day. Same cost for attendants.
