Extraction or removal of wisdom teeth (alveotomy) is the most common oral surgical procedure and with which the problem of impacted and retained wisdom teeth are solved. Most often patients are not even aware of wisdom teeth in their mouth because they do not hinder and do not hurt. Sometimes it is enough to clean them, however if the process becomes complicated then it is necessary to surgically remove them.

A Root Canal Treatment

Inside the hard tissue of the tooth, there is a small chamber that gives life to the tooth with blood vessels and nerves (pulp) entering from the end of the root. This structure, which allows the teeth to grow and maintain, serves as an alarm when decay occurs. Early untreated tooth decay progresses to the pulp and causes severe pain, causing changes in inflammation. In the next stage, the bacteria secrete acids kill the pulp. In this way, the toxins (poisons) infiltrate from the root tip and spread to the jaw bone. Inflammation of the jaw bone causes loss of teeth and damage to surrounding tissues. To prevent this, the tooth can be saved by removing the diseased pulp tissue to protect the female and surrounding tissues. After the pulp tissue is cleaned under anesthesia, the canals are expanded and disinfected. After all these operations, the pulp chamber is filled with special substances up to the root end. Contrary to popular belief, these procedures are painless and the treated tooth remains in the mouth for many years.

DENTAGLOBAL Dental Clinic

No artificial tooth is as healthy and durable as a natural tooth. For this reason, taking good care of your teeth should be a priority. When a tooth does start to cause problems, root canal therapy might become necessary. If the living tissue or pulp (the package of veins and nerves) in the root of the tooth goes dead or begins to rot, root canal therapy will be required. Before advances in dentistry, damaged teeth were immediately extracted as they could not be saved. Thanks to root canal therapy, however, the interior of damaged teeth can be cleaned and refilled, allowing patients to continue using their natural teeth. At the same time, such therapy prevents the damaged tooth from affecting adjacent teeth.
