Poliklinika Bagatin
Description
It is possible to insert implant only if there is enough volume in the jaw bone that will hold the implant. When the tooth is lost, the volume of the bone can decrease. Sinus lift procedure consists of upgrading or adding bone to the the sinus cavity above the upper jaw.
During this procedure artificial materials are used to produce new bone, but also client's own bone can be used instead of artificial materials. Sinus lift can be done at the same time when the implant is placed if there is at least a small volume of bone. If there is no bone at all, it is necessary to take 6-8 months to increased volume. Sinus lift is a routine procedure performed under local anesthesia, and after 2-3 days, you can return to your normal activities.
