The lipids are lumps that develop in the subcutaneous tissue, that is, just beneath the skin. Τhe lipid is a benign tumor, consisting of mature adipocytes and located in any part of the body where there is fat. The clinical picture is that of a well-circumscribed, round, soft, agile, sometimes lobed, asymptomatic tumor, of varying size. The overlapping skin is normal. The lipids are single or multiple (often syndromes). The multiple, symmetrically located in the roots of the limbs, the buttock, the abdomen, the throat are possibly related to hereditary dermatoses.
